Bill Brinkman

Managing Partner

Bill leads HealthTrend Capital, where he makes investments in healthcare software and services companies.  He currently serves as a board member or observer at GEM HEALTH, N1 Health, and Salute, and he is actively involved with Auxilius. 

Bill has spent his career investing in, building, and advising companies, with a focus on healthcare.  Prior to founding HealthTrend Capital, he was ​Managing Partner & Chief Business Officer at Trend HealthCare Partners, a healthcare consulting firm.  Previously Bill was Chief of Staff and subsequently Contracting Lead at WithMe Health, a next-generation PBM that he helped incubate within investment firm Oak HC/FT.  As an independent consultant, he supported investment firms M33 Growth and General Catalyst with special projects.  Bill was previously an investor at Nautic Partners, a private equity firm, where he worked on investments including LDI, ExactCare Pharmacy, Community Medical Group, and Warmelin Precision Products.  He began his career as a consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, advising on growth strategy and commercial due diligence for investors and executives at businesses ranging from startups to public companies.  He has a BA from Carleton College.
